Keep Texas Running A website promoting the horse and greyhound racing industry in Texas. This site has some great features that allow you to put in your information, and it will give you a direct contact link to the legislators in your district and their email addresses. It also has some excellent articles about the effects of video lottery terminals and slot machines to race tracks.

Legalize Poker In Texas.com  A site designed to allow people to send a direct email to multiple legislators simultaneously with no effort.  They even have a form email in support of the poker bill.

Legalize Hold'em  A North Carolina website dedicated to the legalization of poker. Apparently it is a Class 2 misdemeanor in North Carolina to play poker in your own home with no money involved!

Center For Gaming Research The UNLV center for gaming research has numerous studies, research publications and articles on gambling and it's social and economic impacts.

Gambling and The Law  The website of Professor I. Nelson Rose, a leading authority on gambling law. He is an internationally known scholar, with more than 500 published works, and public speaker.  A 1979 graduate of Harvard Law School, he is a tenured full Professor at Whittier Law School in Costa Mesa, California, where he teaches one of the first law school classes on gaming law.  His site has a 2003 update on the state of gambling in the U.S. He also sells several of his publications through the site.
